These mouthwashes can be helpful in fighting halitosis, but if your mouthwash does not contain antibacterial properties, it will only mask the odors. If your mouthwash contains alcohol, it could be counterproductive because alcohol dries out your mouth and dry mouth causes bad breath.
Hydration – Along with brushing and flossing, drinking plenty of water will aid greatly in fighting halitosis. Water will help keep your mouth clean and moist, protecting it from the bacteria that causes bad breath.
